Exactly how it looks, but might be a little flimsy for some. As someone who was assembling such an item for the first time, didn't find it to be so difficult - did need to hammer it a bit to close gaps between the planks. Bought to match the 7 drawer chest from the same range. Again, these have deep drawers and a good wide top. Have added pics with A4 paper on and also a picture with my Jack Russel for visual height reference. I put two of these together alone, took approx. 1.5 hours each to do.
