This hanging bird feeder comes complete with an integral squirrel baffle to try to stop them from getting at the bird food. The feeding tray is positioned underneath the baffle, which in turn is adjustable in its position on the hanging hook. This enables the baffling part to be raised or lowered to get the perfect position to let the birds in but keep the squirrels out. The baffle also provides protection from other predators such as swooping birds of prey and cats, and as it is made of Perspex, it is possible to see the birds feeding through it.

The bird feeder is a wall-mounted bird table designed to attract a wide range of small to medium bird species. It has many attractive design features. An initial verdigris coating is applied to the real copper roof to give it an instant aged effect. Further natural patination of the copper will then follow in time. It is natural for some of the initial coatings to flake away, any loose material may be brushed away to allow further natural verdigris to develop. The bird feeder is sealed with a water-based sealant and painted in soft green. To fully maintain its appearance they recommend an annual repaint using exterior water-based varnish or paint to keep the surface sealed.

The bird feeder looks great, arrived with some damage to one corner of the roof and to the support structure where the main piece had crushed it, this was due to poor packaging.
