Delivery in 3 boxes instructions easy to follow. Bunk Bed sturdy, a few rough edges that needed a little sanding and the connectors to the top and bottom need a little extra fixing. Overall a really nice bunk bed you can choose which end you want the ladder and the double bed is a really nice size. Ok so I’m a fussy buyer so my comments are honest and genuine. This bunk bed is so much better than I expected it to be. Negatives first the instructions are a little hard to decipher in places and some of the paintwork was a little patchy and there were a couple of small cracks but this didn’t affect the build and the bunk overall once completed is very sturdy. I wouldn’t be jumping about on it but for my 6 year old and her little brother it’s perfect. Also it says max depth of top mattress 16cm so that’s what I got but I’d probably have preferred about 12-14. So take your time and make sure you have someone to help and plenty of space to build. We bought the 2ft 6 version of this bed for our daughter's tiny bedroom. Having read some of the more critical reviews I was a little worried but I didn't need to be. We haven't given it 5 stars as the instructions are a little vague in places - you really do need to read them through before you start. Also, we were 8 bolts short, there is an online portal to order more and these did arrive within 2 days. The bed itself is just what we needed to give her some of her own space. Assembly was fine with two people, even in such a tiny space. As the bed is tall and narrow we bought it knowing that it would need to be secured to the wall to stop it tipping over and this is clearly stated in the instructions. If you do not secure it to the wall, it will tip over. The bed is extremely stable and does not wobble or creak at all. The room is so tiny it is hard to take a photograph but I have attached before and after shots for a comparison. Just amazing took 2 hours but it was expected. Looks superb in the boys room just wish I could got this item earlier. Boys are now 18 ,14,10 years old Bag of grey clips, just remember to insert them has you place the metal slots in place then the grey plastic claw hooks that are the interlocking grips placed in to make it stronger right at the end.. Nice bed, my children love it. I’m slightly annoyed that when I purchased this over the phone the guy doing the transaction said that it could be built in reverse so that the windows could face out on the right hand side and not the left as shown in the picture, he said he checked the holes and they were the same on both sides. however we found this wasn’t the case when it came to building it.
