This bench was advertised with drop-down menus to choose colour of bench and colour of cushions. I contacted Wayfair because the description said that cushions weren’t included, but I couldn’t understand why there was an option to choose colour if they weren’t included. They have said it can be returned without charge if there aren’t cushions included. When the bench itself arrived, without cushions, it is just slats of untreated pine with no colour. This really missed the mark for my first wayfair purchase! 1. It came in three deliveries making it difficult to know if anything was missing until it was all unboxed and organised for assembly. 2. The assembly instructions are very poor. 3. We’re still assembling after three days, my husband and I are very competent having installed our own kitchen, bathroom and built a big (4x5 mtr) wooden summer house. 4. It does NOT come with cushions. If you check the product detail’s carefully you will notice this, I did not and as I was comparing to other products that did not show cushions in the product pages I mistakenly thought cushions would be included, especially because some sets were shown with different colour cushions. What makes it worse is that you cannot purchase cushions to fit the set from the brand and have to consider specially made cushions are double the cost. 5. The quality of the pine is really very poor, with several pieces that are split, there are also some slightly longer pieces meaning you have to check before assembling each chair. The furniture is lovely and very easy to put together. The sofas did need two people though. The cushions are thicker than most I tried. The pieces are not heavy so will need either taken in or weighted in strong winds like I get where I live although for most in a sheltered garden this won't be an issue. Unfortunately a few of the pieces arrived broken and while I have put them together they are structurally weak at the broken bits. I await feedback from Wayfair as to what they suggest. This set is no longer available so I'd rather keep the set and dump the broken piece with a proportional refund for the broken piece. I really am pleased with the set though other than the fact some bits were broken but that's the courier's fault and not a reflection of the items themselves as they are plastic and I live very far away (lorry and boat journey!). I was so excited to get this sofa! It’s for sitting upright. The color of the cushions are dark gray not blue nor navy. The foam material doesn’t seem the best quality, however I hope when the time comes they’ll be easy to replace. The material wicks away water nicely. Ideally they’ll hold up.
