Of all the dining tables around this price bracket, this is the only one that looks and feels expensive. Main reason for purchase was the fat legs, giving it such a classy look and makes it so much more sturdy. Looks fantastic in my kitchen.

I've recently renovated a 19th century farmhouse and had installed large contemporary oak beams. I wanted a dining table to reflect the chunky wood style. The aesthetic on this table does just that with its thick legs and table-top. Very solidly built and easy to attach the legs. You need two people to turn it over once assembled! A few minor niggles: Although solid wood the legs are not single pieces, but you really can't tell. The selection of the pieces of wood that make up the table could have been a little better in some places to create the illusion of large single pieces of wood.
