French: Furniture has a shabby chic style, vintage or antique appearance. Almost always comes in light colors (ex: white, birch, beech). Designs are often inspired by French Chateau or Country styles.

Simple/Casual: Furniture has a standard, clean look of current furniture and does not fit in the other style types. Normally comes in solid colors and will not have ornate detailing.

Modern/Contemporary:Furniture has clean lines, industrial elements, high gloss finishes and/or bold colour elements. This style is known for its underlying simplicity of shape combined with an attention to both form and function. The style often has combines strong geometric shapes and symmetry, with bold simple shapes.

Traditional: Furniture looks like a family heirloom, seldom in light woods. Ornate, detailed, generally pretty heavy and expensive looking. Has details like curled metal, ornate handles, marble tops, etc. Classical design, usually wooden and polished. Often made from woods such as mahogany, cherry and oak.

Rustic: Furniture is reminiscent of country living. Always wooden, either stained, oiled or unfinished. Usually but not always in pine or light oak finishes. Often quite sturdy, plain & focused on function. These pieces look like they have been inspired by nature.
