Steve Conine is the Chairman, Co-Founder, and Chief Technology Officer of Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores). Steve is responsible for architecting and developing software systems that give Wayfair a technological edge in the online retail business. Prior to that, Steve was a Founder, Member of the Board, and Chief Technology Officer of Simplify Mobile. Before starting Simplify Mobile, he served as Chief Operating Officer for the London office of iXL, a publicly traded global technology consulting firm. Steve also previously co-founded and served as a top executive of Spinners Incorporated, an IT services firm, which was sold to iXL in 1998.

Niraj Shah is the CEO and co-founder of Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores). Before Wayfair, Niraj was CEO and co-founder of Simplify Mobile, an enterprise software company which was sold in 2001. Prior to that, he was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Greylock Partners, COO and a member of the Board of Directors at iXL, a publicly traded global technology consulting firm, and the CEO and co-founder of Spinners, which was sold to iXL in 1998. Niraj has been included in the Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, and has won the Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year award. Niraj is also on the board of the Massachusetts Innovation Technology Exchange. Niraj holds a BS from Cornell University, and lives in Boston, MA, with his wife and two children.

Paul Drappi received his BA from Trinity College in 2002 and started with Wayfair in March 2003 (back when it was CSN Stores) to handle Customer Service for our AV products. Promoted through ranks as organization grew, Paul became floor manager and then Director of Customer Service in Boston. Paul is currently VP of Customer Service, overseeing three Contact Centers in Boston, Ogden, Utah and Galway, Ireland.

Eric Klose has been with Wayfair since its inception as CSN Stores, joining the company upon graduation from Bates College, and has been an integral part of helping the company grow. He oversees all aspects of marketing, including product marketing, advertising, creative, business intelligence and public relations.

Mike O’Hara has been with Wayfair since 2003 when he re-joined the founders after working with them in various prior companies, including Spinners and IXL. Mike started his career in New York City working in management consulting and soon after shifted his focus to software development for the Internet. For the next 7 years he worked as a consultant to design, build, and improve applications for companies in San Francisco, London and Boston. He is responsible for overseeing the engineering department and maintaining, growing and developing the systems and infrastructure that have enabled Wayfair to grow so quickly. Mike has a BS from Cornell University.

Nicholas Malone has held senior financial roles across numerous industries, including technology, financial services, and retail. Immediately prior to joining Wayfair in 2005, Nicholas was the finance head of an IT Services Division of Siemens AG, the global technology and manufacturing company. He has also held VP of Finance roles at Mercator Software, a NASDAQ publicly traded integration software company, and at Enhance Financial Services Group, a NYSE publicly traded insurance company, where he was also Assistant Treasurer. He was also the Chief Financial Officer at SYNNAP, a startup web hosting company. Nicholas started his career in the financial services industry, working for 6 years at PaineWebber/UBS in various financial and accounting roles. Nicholas has a BSBA in Accounting and History from American University, an MBA from Fordham University and attended an International Graduate Program at Georgetown University in Oxford, England.

Michael O’Hanlon has been with Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores) since 2006 and joined the company after spending over 11 years as an investment banker with various organizations, including First Albany. While a banker, Michael worked on deals from many different industries, including technology and retail. Prior to banking, he spent 6 years in the US Navy.

Ed Macri is VP of Advertising & Business Intelligence at Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores). He joined Wayfair in 2007 and is responsible for customer acquisition, customer retention/loyalty, and enterprise business intelligence. Prior to Wayfair, Ed held a mix of enterprise and consumer direct marketing roles at Emptoris, an enterprise supply chain software provider, and Digitas, where he focused on telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. Ed started his career focusing on technology at Bain & Company. He holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

James Savarese joined Wayfair in 2008 and is currently SVP of Operations. James is responsible for supply chain, sales & customer service and merchandise operations functions. Prior to joining Wayfair, James spent 7 years at Arrowstream, a $100 million logistics and technology services company. As a founding member, James held several positions, including SVP Products & Services where he was responsible client services, product management, data management and engineering groups. Prior to Arrowstream, he was a Client Partner at iXL, a publically-traded global technology consulting firm. James also spent 6 years in London and Boston as a management consultant in the Supply Chain Group of Deloitte Consulting. James has a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from The University of Chicago.

Steve Oblak is VP of Category Management, overseeing the extensive team of business managers, buyers, merchandisers and supplier relationship managers responsible for the Wayfair (formerly CSN Stores) and AllModern businesses. He joined Wayfair in 2009 from River West Brands, an early-stage venture firm focused on acquiring and re-launching dormant consumer brands. Steve previously served as a Senior Director at FutureBrand Worldwide, a global brand consultancy practice of Interpublic Group, where he led client engagements advising senior marketing executives in the technology, financial services and automotive industries. He began his career in consulting in the international financial services practice at the Corporate Executive Board. Steve has a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Northwestern University.

A management consultant for more than a decade, John Mulliken most recently was a Principal at The Boston Consulting Group where was a leader of the Multi-channel Retail group and on the leadership team of the Global Center for Consumer Insight. He also has been on the leadership team of two internet start-ups. John received an MBA from the London Business School and a BA in mathematics from Reed College. He’s from New York City, but living close to Fenway Park he’s now raising two Red Sox fans.

Fayyaz Shah holds a Masters in engineering and an MBA from UT Austin. Fayyaz joined Wayfair in 2010 after working at Travelocity as VP of Global Product Management, overseeing different aspects of customer experience for them. Fayyaz has been awarded multiple product patents based on work done at Travelocity. Prior to Travelocity, Fayyaz ran the CRM practice of consulting firms such as Breakaway Solution and Cambridge Technology Partners.

Mark brings 22 years of leadership experience in supply chain and operations to Wayfair, and has been directly or indirectly associated with ecommerce for the last 14 years in roles such as Vice President of Supply Chain at Weight Watchers, Director of UK Fulfillment and Fulfillment Center General Manager at Amazon, and Director of Distribution and Director of Program Management at Webvan. In addition, as Vice President of Customer Solutions at Kiva Systems, Mark was the lead designer for ecommerce fulfillment centers for apparel, footwear, office supplies, medical products, books and media, and grocery. Mark holds Master of Science degrees in Management and Materials Science & Engineering, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology from MIT.
