Lovely quality, great value of money

from Surrey on 14/05/2015 – Verified Buyer

We bought this bed for our son and are very impressed with the quality. It's really sturdy once assembled and we found it straight forward to put together. It's nice having the extra bed space with the trundle AND drawer space as well for sheets etc. Only thing to bear in mind is the bed is quite high which is absolutely fine so long as you expected it! Overall very happy. We didn't think something of this quality would be in our price range.

Great bed!

from Twickenham, on 24/09/2015 – Verified Buyer

Nice, well made bed. Took about an hour for my husband to put together. It is rather wide 90cm, so be aware if room is small , but because of that it feels like an adult could sleep on it comfortably too. Top mattress could be up to 20-22 cm thick, bottom mattress max 15cm (that is from slat to under bed and can just about able to close it. ) Would Definately recommend.

great solid bed

from Orpington, on 25/04/2015

This is a lovely bed. It is higher than most beds so you do have to climb on it almost but my son is tall so not an issue. the white is painted well with no marks. Everything went together well. It is a solid bed which means it can be heavy to pull out the trundle with the mattress and stuff in the drawers but that is only when e has sleepovers. It means nothing can be lost or hidden under the bed like sweets or iPads! Very pleased.

Sturdy and looks good

from Cheshire on 27/05/2015

Decent quality, sturdy build but get an electric screw driver or it will take hours to put together. Saying that, it takes so long because it is built to last with each bed slat being screwed down even on the roll away. Thick pine slats, not the flimsy bowed slats you get on cheaper beds.

Extremely high for a bed, especially for a child.

from London, on 15/11/2015 – Verified Buyer

This bed comes up to 62cm high before a mattress is put on, so unless you want to feel like an Olympic hurdlist getting into bed every night, I would not recommend this bed. Also I. The picture, the finish looks lacquered, shiny and fine, it is in fact a very dull plain unvarnished wood finish. Disappointing to say the least. Had to disassemble and return.

Great product!

from Lincoln, on 02/04/2015 – Verified Buyer

The bed was advertised for next day delivery. It wasn't delivered the next day! After numerous emails to Wayfair and the delivery company (none of which were responded to), after numerous attempts to talk by phone to someone at Wayfair and delivery company (it took several days to talk to a person, not a machine) and after a full week of waiting, trying to get an actual delivery date, some kind of customer service, the bed was delivered. I was told I would get 1/2 hour notice before delivery, to save me staying in all day......... The bed was delivered whilst I was out, but fortunately I had the foresight to get my neighbour to wait in!
The bed is great quality and was easy to assemble. I can not praise the product enough!!
The customer service and delivery service, whilst very polite when speaking to you, is absolutely diabolical and inconsistent with each other.

This was by far the cheapest of this type of bed we could find on the internet and you get a lot for your money. They are straight forward to build and seem fairly robust once assembled. If I had to point out any problems it would be that the wood seemed fairly low quality and would be prone to splitting if you drive the screws too tight. Also the pilot holes drilled for the screws were too wide so they did not bite the wood sufficiently and I had to occasionally use other screws to ensure a tight connection. But other than that they are good and look great in the girls' bedroom. Would I recommend them? Yes probably but with the warning about the quality of the wood from an assembly point of view (not necessarily from an aesthetics point of view as they look great).

2-day delivery? Hardly!

from Ipswich, on 09/12/2015 – Verified Buyer

I've been asked to review my recent purchase - hilarious, as I haven't received it yet! Ordered 2 weeks ago, should've arrived last week at the latest. Two days ago I was told it had been sent to the wrong depot, but that it was now in the right place & they would call that day, or yesterday at the latest to arrange delivery - nothing. Have spent over an hour today listening to recorded messages on the number given to enquire about delivery, telling me how important my call is - but not important enough to answer, apparently! On the upside, I managed to get through to Wayfair directly & spoke to a very sympathetic & helpful man, who assured me that he would do everything in his power to rectify the situation & contact me tomorrow. Fingers crossed...

Very Well Made Bed - Poor Delivery

from Sheffield on 15/12/2015 – Verified Buyer

Would've got 5 stars, except...
Ordered Thursday. Web site promised next day delivery, only to be dissapointed by confirmation e-mail which then said the following week, Mon to Weds. Called Wayfair customer services on the Weds to be told that delivery not yet booked in!!
All credit to Customer Services...who chased courier (XDP) and got back to me within the hour and had arranged for next day delivery.
TIP: If assembling in a small/box room, unpack all the parts and lay them out elsewhere where you've got lots of space. Assemble the underbed first. Took about 3hrs for 1 person assembly.

This is a fantastic bed and the extra bed underneath comes in handy frequently for sleepovers or other guests. The additional storage drawers are great and you can easily store extra bedclothes as well as toys etc in there. Exactly what we wanted. Quite tall so perhaps not suitable for a child under 3/3.5, or get a railing elsewhere.
