Reasonable solid, does the job. However, be aware that it but began to rust upon exposure damp conditions, even prior to any heat! Consider spraying with VHT paint to make it last longer.

When using with the Fire Pit, this screen seems to be slightly too big: it sits right on the sharp, outside edge of the firepit. That edge is sharp/rough, so any coating you apply to either, will be scratched away. Rust will take hold, so it not clear how long this will last - especially the relatively thin mesh.
