There is even a folding hinged lid in the bow with a handy storage area underneath– to stow sandy toys – and who knows – perhaps a spot of rum. Once the lid is closed the storage area also doubles up as extra seating for the ship’s crew. This children’s sandpit with seating and cover has a black nonwoven baseliner to prevent weeds and allow water drainage.
