Bought for a girlfriends birthday present... Thought I would get this more expensive jewellery box as I thought it would be better quality and last longer. Well it arrived well packaged no damage to the box and i opened it up and everything looked great. However when I opened up the actual box on the hinge mechanism I was very very disappointed as you can see with the photos I have included the bottom draw has a split all the way through to the bottom of the wood. Where the top draw connects to the actual lid it doesn't sit correctly so thus makes it a pain to close but also because it doesn't sit correctly the bottom draw gets pushed out on the hinge skewed and is completely out of line it just looked terrible. Fortunately i have resolved all these problems myself with some DIY maintainence but that's not the point it should never have been sent out the factory in such poor shape especially for the money paid... I think it's just poor workmanship from the company and I'd personally never buy anything from them ever again!
