Quality sofa! Sturdy, beautiful colour, firm seats so you sit quite high up and comfortable. Assembly is easy. It comes in seperate pieces - arms, front skirt bar that joins the arms together, a sprung base, the legs and the sofa back are all delivered in seperate pieces in the one box. So it's easy to get in through a tight space. And if it didnt fit you can just open the box and bring in each seperate sofa part. The self build is simple. It's all labelled and everything slots into one another via super strong metal connections. Nothings massively heavy. You DO need 2 people to slide the back in to place. The Allerton boasts a stylish, classical design as well as an extremely comfortable reclining suite. This three-seat recline is manually operated with two set positions - although you can recline further to find your preferred position. Both sides of the sofa recline independently of each other and the recline function is released via a handle on either side of the sofa and is then operated via body movement. The middle seat remains stationary. The sofa is upholstered in durable bonded leather with some faux leather match used on the lower stress areas including, but not limited to, the back and sides of the chair. The interior is both sprung and foam-filled to give both comfort and support.

Lovely sofa, very comfortable. The feet are a lighter colour than in original product photos but it all matches my room well. The only complaint I have, is a couple of the plastic transportation feet were a nightmare to remove. We had to get a clamp and even using that, it was difficult but we got them off in the end.
