Bad Quality and a lot of work for construction

This bed is shipped as about 70 pieces of wood and over 300 nuts, bolts and screws. It is tedious to put together and requires your own tools (electric drill, wrench, allen keys). The wood is low quality pine that arrives saw-dusty, and while putting it together, one board split a bit - minor and fixable, but testament to the low quality. Not all the wood is solid pine either. The shelves have no support in the middle of the bed, so they slip around and are not connected to the bed. The base of the shelves arrived as pieces that do not exactly fit in the space, leaving gaps in the shelf base. The bed slats get drilled directly to the bed (with 104 screws...), making it near impossible to take the bed apart if moving apartment. Consider spending a little bit more on a bed to save yourself days of hassle and find a sturdier, more usable bed!
