I am disappointed to find that this is not suitable as an aquarium stand as it seems to absorb any spilt water straight away. This makes me think it will rot on the inside and then break under the weight of a tank. Was also awkward to assemble with trying to line all of the wooden pegs up, screws would have just been easier. However, it does look as pictured.
