Lifetime 5 Ft. x 3 Ft. High-Density Polyethylene Outdoor Storage Shed with Steel-Reinforced Construction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly process looked daunting but once started, was relatively easy by following the very clear instructions. Solid piece of furniture and all the parts fit well. One snag was that I felt that the hinge lid opened uncontrollably to the vertical position and then it was quite difficult to close it. I have now put a chain on either side of the lid and it checks the opening (photo3). However, very pleased with the finished product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 2 of these for our 4 bins in the uk, packaging is excellent and assembly is easy with the well designed instructions and hardware packs. Only 2 criticism I have is that the chains that come with this are not fit for purpose and all 4 snapped on the trial run after assembly, the stroke of the cylinders is very strong lifting the lid to vertical which makes it impossible for my wife to reach the lid from the front, I am researching attaching new stronger binding chains and also attaching a chain to the hinge mechanism to restrict the lid lift to a height that my wife can reach, I think this would make an improvement to what is already a great product, stronger chains and hinge actuator restrictors.
