Three Things to Do At Half Term
I’ve chosen three things to make that can fill part of the morning or afternoon. Your creations can also be used to fire their imaginations for a bigger activity, I love it when one thing leads to another, and so do my kids.
Make Fudge and go on a long, muddy adventure, the recipe is here. Never call it a walk and always take something sweet to encourage the troops – or if you are feeling even more adventurous, read these tops tips to get children up mountains.
Make Popcorn Balls and create a home cinema.
The cinema can be expensive, but a home cinema can still be an event, if you spend some time preparing for it! The recipe for popcorn balls is here, you can have lots of fun adding stuff like nuts, sweets and chic chips. Why not make an event of it, make and decorate tickets, make a box office, play at ushers with torches.
Make bath bombs and chill
My daughter could spend a fortune in Lush on bath bombs, but home made ones are cheap and easy to make. This bath bomb tutorial is by far my most viewed post, they really are easy peasy to make, so what are you waiting for, grab the instructions. When they’ve spent some time chilling in the bath and calmed down after a fun packed day, don’t forget to save a bomb for yourself, half term is tiring!
