How to Host Guests When You Don't Have a Guest Room
Ensure everybody's happy.
If you're expecting overnight guests but have no where to hist them - we've got you covered. Carve out space to help your visitors feel at home and follow our top tips for hosting without a spare room.
Clear a Spot for Luggage
Set up a corner with a luggage rack, ottoman or folding chair to keep suitcases off the floor and offer extra hangers in the hall cupboard so guests can unpack.
Designate a Sleeping Space
Lean on multi-purpose pieces, like daybeds and convertible sofas or chairs, and add an easy-to-store folding screen to give guests more privacy.
Bring In Bedroom Essentials
In place of a nightstand, simply use a tray to corral bedside must-haves, like an alarm clock, mirror and box of tissues.
Set Out Towels and Linens
Leave out sheets and blankets of multiple weights, and keep extra bath towels near the sleeping space so guests don't have to ask.
