A Fresh and Modern Nursery for Dani Dyer’s First Baby
A gender neutral design.
The Love Island winner has teamed up with Wayfair to design a gender neutral nursery ahead of her little one’s arrival. Here’s how she achieved the look.
Soft Foundation
A gender neutral nursery was a key consideration when designing Dani’s nursery as the baby’s sex is set to be a surprise in the New Year! The soft dove grey palette creates a fresh and calming foundation and is the perfect base colour on which to layer pops of colour and pattern.
Dani wanted her new nursery style to reflect the streamlined and chic style that runs throughout the rest of her home, so she chose furniture and decor from Wayfair’s Mack + Milo range, which boasts stylish but affordable Scandi finds with a kid-friendly twist.
The new baby’s bedroom is on the small side, so it was important to Dani that the space was styled with practicality in mind. Dani opted for a slim wardrobe, a changing table with in-built storage and some cute floating shelves to display her sweetest nursery touches, from books to bunnies!
It was important to Dani that the nursery should be as comfortable as it is stylish, so Wayfair created a soft and tactile space. From the inviting nursing corner complete with a comfy rocker and soft sheepskin to plush throws and cushions, this is a nursery where cosiness is key.
Subtle animal motifs run throughout the baby’s space. A cute peel-and-stick elephant wallpaper adds the perfect level of interest behind the baby’s cot, a canopy creates impact, while safari-inspired toys, art and decor add a soft and subtle jungle touch throughout.
