A personality - packed playhouse for Georgia Kousoulou’s baby, Brody

Star of the Show
The undisputed star of Brody’s garden getaway is the playhouse, which offers a fab blend of form and function and is the perfect hideout for a growing boy. Featuring blonde timber cladding, vintage-style windows, a cute covered porch and even a mini slide for an easy exit, it’s packed full of charm and year-around practicality. The playhouse also makes the perfect blank canvas for some fun personalised touches!
Colour me happy
To bring extra personality to Brody’s garden bolt hole, we stencilled mountains in a range of shades onto the interior wall. Top tip: On wood, you should use a high tack frog tape to position your mountains in a range of heights and sizes, then paint them in contrasting shades, from glacial mint to moody blue.
In the detail
Adding a few touches usually reserved for adult spaces makes Brody’s playhouse as stylish as it is serene. We went for potted plants aplenty to give his garden getaway a grown-up garden look, using a mix of baskets and ceramic planters. We then added festoon lighting and bunting galore to up the atmosphere!
Stow in style
When it comes to storage, a little goes a long way. We added some super affordable stools in poppy colours as a perfect plinth for snacks and games. Meanwhile, a rustic cart works double duty for toys, plants and more.
Child’s play
Don’t forget to add some touches that will engage, inspire and comfort your little one. A basket of cushions, throws and cuddly toys helps to create a tactile space for mum and baby. Meanwhile a chalkboard and height chart offer fun interactive touches.
Let’s get personal
No hideout is complete without a personalised sign. When painting Brody’s name, we paired contrasting hues to really make the sign pop!
