This manufacturer wanted to create a dog design where the dogs had lots of character and looked like doodles. They didn’t want to concentrate too much on different breeds instead of creating a crew of characters. They started the design by making smudgy marks on paper with paint and differently shaped brushes. They then worked into the shapes with ink creating quirky dog faces which I later made into an all-over print.
