Unfortunately a disappointing purchase. This would be okay for a rabbit run or similar but does not meet needs as a permanent chicken run. The frame is quite flimsy with regards to base and stability. The frame also showed signs of rust from just one night outside. The wire and cover were better quality and there was plenty of wire supplied. Time to assemble the frame was relatively quick, good instructions and tools provided, it was the fitting of the wire that took time to ensure it was fox/chicken proof. This made it even more annoying that it just wasn’t up to scratch after the time taken to assemble in full. Within 12 hours I had replaced for something far more durable.. Anonymous. Sun Mar 22 2026

I ordered this to use for my 2 cats. It's a temporary solution till we move house. We found it very easy to put together adding the wire was a bit fiddly but straight forward plenty of wire supplied and loads of cable ties. Update..... What a huge chicken coop, with spacious space for number of chickens, ducks, gooses to run freely in the day. The shelter cover will provide protections against rain and sun. The hen cage boasts iron tubes and coated with silver powder, that’s highly resistant to destruction and deformation, rust and fade, upgraded design remain more durable and stable than before.
