These pillows are a great first pillow. Very well filled but not to firm so as your head is elevated too high. I would say it is slightly higher than average, and will take time to come down, but this does mean it will last longer. This is the fourth and most expensive Simba in our house - we have had it about a week and I waiting for a decent nights sleep. It is very sturdy and feels well made, but it is MUCH firmer than I expected- I chose the Apex as it has the most “plush” claim. I’m hoping it becomes more comfortable otherwise I’ll be returning it. Previous mattresses have had excellent delivery, this one was “VIP” but the guys didn’t remove their shoes, didn’t have a knife to remove the absolutely filthy packaging, or seem to care when I pointed out the dirt dragged into my brand new carpet (complaint has been lodged) So all in all, 4 stars is pretty generous for this particular purchase!.
