When I started constructing this piece of furniture I noted that there were a couple of chips in the veneer. I was unhappy with this but decided I didn't think they were unsightly enough to warrant returning the whole piece of furniture. I complained through Wayfair and Birlea who produce the item responded very quickly and professionally. I discussed with them what I felt a reasonable fair resolution would would be and they agreed immediately without argument. I feel the level of customer service was very good (particularly compared to recent experiences I've had with other furniture retailers such as Sofology), and I would happily buy other products from them in future. Assembling the frame according to the instructions was a real challenge. We were already figuring things out ourselves. The drawers also had to be adjusted several times to get them aligned, because on one side, the screw needs to be screwed into the second hole (according to the instructions), and on the other side, it needs to be screwed into the first hole.
