I love teak and wanted a solid wood unit but it was a nightmare putting it together. It would have been very easy and straightforward if all the dowels and screw holes lined up properly. You have to put in a lot of force to try and make everything line up and had to drill a few new dowel connections to make the panels fit. I will need to sand it down too. Product arrived - sink is flimsy and dented. Missing essential hardware - screws to attach the doors. No tap hole in the sink. Expectation of cutting out requires professional level carpentry- you are expected to cut through an inch and a half of wood - very sad as the best quality bit of the product is intended to be thrown away. The cut out needs to be very accurate and would not be possible with a hand saw as shown in the picture. I now have a semi complete product which I can’t finish without additional screws, a new sink and a professional carpenter which is going to significantly add to the cost.. Anonymous. Such a lovely piece of furniture. It brings a lovely warmth to the bathroom with its soft wood. Bathroom fitters said it was easy to install. Its not too wide, so is great for limited space. Also the natural wood is easy to maintain - it was marked by a leaking soap dispenser, but sanded down easily and with a coat of Danish Oil, looked great. Would need a little more maintenance with Danish Oil (or similar) if you are a family etc where water gets spilled and left in it. All in all, fab piece of bathroom furniture tat is way more affordable that most bathroom specialist alternatives. I would definitely buy more teak furniture from them.. Zoe. Altrincham, GB.
