Adorable and once lit very cute. The lighting is for decorative effect rather than proper lighting. You need batteries.

Lovely little lights! As other have mentioned, they aren’t very bright. But I bought them more for decoration purposes, than to actually light the room. So them not being too bright isn’t an issue for me personally. They are very pretty, and seem well made for the cheap price. Happy with my purchase.
