You get what you pay for. Rug is rolled up pretty tight when delivered, and it’s very thin, so the bumps are taking a while to flatten out. I had it upside down and put heavy pots on it to get the major curl at the edge of the rug out, and that seemed to help. But it didn’t work on all of the bumps. I’m hoping over time they settle. Also, the edges aren’t a straight line.
However, this is all fine for me, as I put it in my high-traffic kitchen over a very thick, high-quality rug pad, for comfort. I replace the rug every 2-3 years, as they get stained and gross. So I chose inexpensive rugs, and expect them to be worth what I pay for. But if you’re looking for quality rug that will stand the test of time and not look cheap, spend more money and move on from this.. Debra. San Jose, CA. Wed Jan 03 2024
