This set of four plastic containers can be filled with water or sand and affixed to our Steel Cross Base to anchor any parasol of your choice that is suitable for a 90 KG base. NB - When a segment is filled with water only it weighs 16kg (64kg in total). When a segment is filled with sand it weighs approximately 20kg (80kg in total). Therefore, for our Larger Parasols, we recommend the Sand option.

Plastic plate set made of robust HDPE plastic for weighting down (Dakota Fields) parasol stands. Can be filled with water (approx. 15 liters/plate) or sand/fine gravel (approx. 20kg/plate); total weight of approx. 60 to 80kg. Unlike concrete slabs, it can be completely emptied and the integrated carrying handle makes it easy to handle and store. Also ideal for transport, e.g. camping. The plastic surface is gentle on surfaces - the paint on the stand and the floor covering on the balcony and terrace are not scratched. When using water, this should be emptied in autumn/winter to avoid frost damage.
