Very easy to put together, and if you have read any of my other reviews, youll see that I am normally challenged putting furniture together. Its much larger than I imagined, but that is ok. The finish is kind of funky. Its not a mat finish but not a glossy finish either. Semigloss, possibly. But in my opinion that makes it unique and interesting. I wound recommend. the shape and color is exactly what I want. There are only small holes all over. We called and informed and sent a new one immediately, but the second one had the same problem when we reported it again, they said it because this model is aging. it just seemed a little strange to me and they did give some discount.
