The Monroe desk and swivel chair duo brings together everyday practicality and inviting style, making it a smart choice for anyone setting up a study nook, home office or multi-use room. The desk is crafted from durable particleboard and MDF, offering a generous work surface with plenty of space for a laptop, paperwork and daily essentials, while its simple silhouette and dependable build mean it slots neatly into modern and more traditional interiors alike. Available in oak, black or walnut, there's a finish to suit a lighter natural aesthetic, a bold contemporary look, or a richer wood-toned scheme. The easy-care surface stays looking sharp with minimal upkeep, so you can focus on the work at hand rather than worrying about maintenance, whether you're carving out a dedicated office corner or refreshing a bedroom workspace. Paired alongside is a beautifully tailored swivel chair that softens the practicality of the desk with soft chenille upholstery and a sculpted, wraparound shape. Generous foam padding cradles the back and seat for support that holds firm through long stretches at the computer, while curved armrests and a rounded backrest give it a cosy, lounge-inspired feel that's a step above the usual desk chair. Choose from soft Ivory or warm Beige to complement neutral, Scandinavian or contemporary decor schemes. A gas-lift mechanism lets you fine-tune seat height in seconds, and the sturdy five-point black metal base glides smoothly on quiet, multi-directional castors across most flooring types. Add in the effortless 360-degree swivel, and you've got a seat that turns easily between desk, shelving or conversation without any awkward shuffling, rounding out a set that delivers comfort, mobility and soft-furnishing charm for hybrid working, studying or a stylish reading corner.

Sherwood Office Combi O5 body/front old style light decor, anthracite appliqué.

Sherwood Office Combi O6 body/front by pine white decor, anthracite appliqué.

This whole experience has been shoddy at best and downright incompetent at times. We ordered the Jackeline 3 piece rectangular writing desk office set over the phone with one of your agents. The confirmation email had the wrong dates on it (you’d arranged the installation before the delivery). We explained this and had to deal with the installers to get the date changed to after the items had arrived! The first “professional” as you like to call your installers arrived, took one look at the items and said he’d not been assigned enough time to assemble the items so didn’t bother starting. I then contacted you and explained that I had taken a day off work to allow the assembly to take place and that I absolutely needed it completed by the Monday (this was on a Friday). I was assured that another professional would come on Sunday. He did and he’d been given 2 hours to complete the job, even after you’d been informed that he had to assemble all items. The first chap thought he was assembling a desk only! It took him over 5 hours! He then told me that the brackets for the shelf should have been ordered separately and as such he was unable to put it on the wall. At NO point had we been made aware of this fact. How on earth can you sell an item and not mention that to put it on the wall we would also need to purchase the brackets that would allow it!! We then contacted you again in order to get the said brackets so that we could mount it on the wall as designed (where else would it go) only to be told that nowhere in any of your vast global operation had any! As you can see from the picture the shelf is still not attached to the wall and I have been left with the problem as you have stopped replying to me. When you told me you have no brackets, all you could say is that I could return all the items as long as they were all in the original packaging (which in line with your TCs was removed by the delivery team) and also the items had been assembled. Its hard to exaggerate just how poor your service is, I’m gutted as we had used you before and been very satisfied. If you are thinking of ordering this item, be sure to get confirmation that you also have the brackets for the shelf. What a disappointing experience this has been!. Adrian. Rochester, GB.
