The box was ripped almost in half when it arrived but the packaging inside was good enough that there was no damage. It took about an hour and a half to build and I think it looks great. It's definitely not solid wood, the pressboard felt a little flimsy at times, but it's a TV stand so it's not going to be a high traffic item. Honestly, super impressed by the quality. Its heavy and this thing will definitely not tip over. To be honest, I did not expect this at all. The color looks amazing too in person.
