It replaces a very old and tired rail for outdoor coats etc. It went together in just 5 minutes (and would have been quicker if I hadn't set the base up upside down so the holes in the verticals were on the wrong side!). It's good and tall so takes all our coats and there are a couple of bags on the rail at the bottom. It will be easy to dismantle if I want to take it car booting ever and the little extensions at the top are good for extra things like wet coats and hats.
