It has similar properties to memory foam - but without the heat retention that some sleepers feel with memory foam. The core comfort of the mattress is a traditional 13.5 gauge open coil spring unit which allows the weight to be distributed evenly across the mattress providing extra comfort and support. I brought this mattress in a double, delivered in good time and came with easy to read instructions on how to set up the mattress as it come vacuum packed, you need to wait 72hours for the mattress to open up fully before you can sleep in it but seems super comfy.
