Great idea for my baby who is 13 months old. The only thing I think would be cool for him if there was like a nob for him to wind up so the little mixer would spin on its own. It would also be like him winding up a hand mixer and it would be more real for him to learn. He loves cooking with me already and we use this all the time. Quality is great and thus far no paint has come off or rubbed off on his hands. For the price it was worth the order.

My niece LOVES this. She instantly started making us cookies and we didn't have to worry about her choking on anything. Highly recommend for your budding baker of any gender!
