We live in an old cottage with low ceilings so after much searching we decided on these bunk beds. I really liked the simplicity of the beds and they are so worth the price point. They are great quality, very sturdy, relatively simple to put up and didn’t take too much time. Our kids love them and can’t wait to get to bed these days. Absolutely brillant. Its strong and looks great. My kids love it. The shelves really make it extra special for my children. I like the fact wires cant come through the shelves for charging etc.. this means that kids wont have electronics near them. We have a solar lights plugged into the light socket for a night light and thats energy efficient and works great next to the bed. The bed is very hard to assemble. It definitely takes 2 people and maybe even a third person so be prepared to put the work in. This will be hard for one person so I recommend getting it assembled by wayfair. This is a great, well-made, aesthetically pleasing bed. The space on the bottom bed is big enough for my youngest to comfortably move around without banging her head above. The drawers provide so much essential toy storage plus it was relatively easy to assemble too. The size of the beds also means that teddy’s now have a permanent home on the bed without making it seem small. 2 friends have already purchased the same bed after seeing ours being very impressed by it. Modern, functional and a cozy place to sleep for two children, this set of bunk beds matches very well with contemporary interiors. It is made from solid wood with a grey lacquer finish. Slatted guard rails and a minimal ladder give it a stylish feel. A trundle bed is also included for an overnight guest, and two drawers offer useful space for storing extra linens, toys, and more. Slats and medium-firm mattresses are included.

Great design and comfortable. My kids have just spent their first night in their new bed and slept soundly. The spare bed trundle is a great idea! As another reviewer mentioned, the instructions were not easy to follow and needed careful review - we did have to re-do some parts of the assembly. I was debating whether to take 1 star off for the instructions but felt it was unfair as the product itself is great. Another thing to watch out for - not all the slats supporting the mattresses were pre-drilled and these slats can split when screwing into the wood with an electric screwdriver. I suggest screws in non pre-drilled slats are done slowly but would be better if they were pre-drilled. Overall I’m glad we bought this bed particularly as it looks good, comfortable and convenient. The experience was slightly tarnished by the assembly which would be resolved with better instructions and pre-drilling bed slats. I would still recommend this product.. Tsf. Harrow, GB.
