I bought four sets of bunk beds and slightly wished I had bought pre painted ones because it's quite an epic painting challenge and they definitely need a coat of something to protect the bare wood which marks very easily .they take quite a bit of constructing and you need to be quite precise but now that the hard work is over I'm quite pleased with the result. I have purchased size 80x180 cm of Stearns bed for my 2.5 year old daughter. Her room is on the smaller side and it fits the room perfectly. It was easy to assemle and the instructions were brief and clear. I really like the bare timber finish. If only it came in oak... The estimated delivery was showing 6-8 weeks but it arrived way earlier in 2 weeks. One thing that stands out in this bed is that there are 2 horizontal pieces at the top which leaves the front open. Got the smaller beds to fit where I needed them. Mattresses are thin foam mats but do the job for smallies. Instructions was one sheet, had a pic of a different bed and a few Instructions in German but was easy to bang together. Nothing included to attach ladder though, had to use our own stuff for that.
