Marquist Dressing Table with Mirror

I was nervous to order the vanity as i seen reviews of the mirrors smashed but thankfully mine didn’t come smashed it came just how it looked in the picture. The vanity took about six hours to build to be honest. The instructions were pretty clear. The numbers written on the parts of the vanity that some people complained about weren’t that noticeable as they were inside of the drawers and those numbers helped a lot with building the vanity other than that the vanity is pretty sturdy and big and it all turned out nice. I would give this a 4 out of five review as it was pretty hard to build and the material of the wood could be a bit better and stronger, but overall I think the vanity is good , and decent for its price

Awful quality, even considering it was relatively low-priced in the sale. Despite having lots of experience with flat-packs from many sources over the years, this took 6 hours to build. The instructions are simple to follow once you get the hang of them. The product itself is badly machined with misaligned pilot holes in some areas, flaking paint at the edges of panels, and was absolutely filthy when the box was opened. Weirdly, it stinks (some sort of chemical smell) and still does! No missing bits, plenty of screws, fittings etc but don't expect it to stay in one piece if moving it any considerable distance. The drawers are ill-fitting with inconsistent gaps around them, and the draw runners are awful, 3 broke on first use spilling ball-bearings everywhere, (no method of adjustment) and are now difficult to open. All in all, even if the price looks attractive, don't waste your time (and a lot of it is needed!) with this one- you absolutely get what you pay for. Very disappointing.

Ive only just had the chance of putting this together last night, and wow, I am disappointed. Not worth £300. So cheap and tacky. Firstly, this is not real wood like it states, its MDF. Secondly, it arrived with brown scrapes down the side. Which Itired removing yesterday and could not. Thirdly it has these black numbers everywhere in places that you can see. Fourthly, the draws hang at different heights. We screwed exactly where the holes were. Im really sorry to say, but this was a complete waste of time and money.

Overall just like on the picture ) one downside to me was to assemble it alone as the mirror side needs to be lifted and it’s heavy.

The real one is more lovely than the picture.
