with Trundle

I have mixed feelings about this bed. The instructions were not idiot proof. Because they were unclear, multiple times i attached things the wrong way around only to have to unscrew them and reseat them. That said, when fully set up, it's pretty good and does what it depicts (ie 2 single mattresses can be laid side by side) which is what we wanted. However, this purchase was something of an experience and loses 2 stars from me because of it. We seemed to be missing 2 screws. I tried to use the website form to highlight this, it wouldnt let me submit it. So i manually emailed the cited address. This put me through to the manufacturer who didnt have the screws in stock, so put me back to Wayfair. I was inclined to think that from that point it was just going to be a case of them ordering the screws elsewhere, then sending them out. Turns out that's not something they can do. Took multiple back and forths to identify that the screws were actually easy to find elsewhere, but goodness me, it was not as simple as I feel it should have been. We got there in the end, and the problem has been solved, but its made me think twice about buying anything large and unwieldly from here. Their solutions were primarily to return the item, faff about with having another entire bed sent out from which i could pinch 2 screws then send the rest back, or buy the screws elsewhere. Maybe that's simple for some, but not so if you're disabled. Conclusion: bed's good enough for what it does, id give it 4 stars if it werent for the experience
