3* as with our current rather small sofa it is needed and the added storage space is fantastic. I would give 3.8 if possible . However, as an experienced furniture assembler, not builder :), it was a nightmare to set up due to the tight fitting nature of the external cover. That being said it does look great just expect a lot of sweat, unexpectedly 4 hours of your time and to rip some holes internally in the poof to fit the cover. I wouldn’t live without it, but the assembly brings back memories of wrestling. A sport I have never tried!
