Faux Leather Upholstered Storage Bench

Installation instructions somewhat lacking, takes a lot of thought to get the construction correct. The finish on the compost wood surfaces is very thin and cheep, can peal right off. Once finished, the bench appears sturdy enough. Hopefully the construction will last more that a few years. There is plenty of storage inside the bench lid for gloves, scarves and hats. The shelves can hold 5 - 6 pairs of shoes. If I could do it over I probably would have gone for better material in a more expensive bench.

I have to say this was the most difficult piece of furniture I have ever put together and I am typically very good at assembling pieces with minimal instruction. I took it apart twice and reassembled because the instructions were so poor and I still had pieces left over! That said I’m happy with the end result and it’s function. It is on the smaller side so check measurements. The quality is alright but it is chip board so the durability remains to be seen. The lid is also quite heavy so I don’t recommend it for young children.
