Beautiful chairs. I specifically was looking for a nice dark wood chair that would tie our new grey floor to our old brown marble table b/c we love our table and didn't want to get rid of it. These were perfect! I would caution to have a friend available to help you put them together. Because they are commercially rated and can handle a lot of weight - I found that the places you would need to screw things together were difficult and kind of a pain to get to. But it made me realize these chairs are going to be durable. My husband and I worked together - me holding and him putting in screws and getting them tightened and it made things a lot easier. We ended up buying 3 sets and it took us a couple hours to get them all put together.

Love the chairs. As others have mentioned they are a little difficult to assemble. The Allan wrench takes to long to screw in the bolts. Having a drill with the bit and extension made it easier. If the parts were labeled with a little sticker indicating the parts might help.

As I was putting these stools together I was reminded of my highschool boyfriend, P, who was so nice to look at, but I had to break up with him because he was a terrible kisser. That's what these stools are- so nice to look at, but putting them together is a soul-sucking journey of sadness and frustration as you sit and turn the hex key roughly 1,000 times for each of the 6 long screws needed to put these stools together (so 12,000 turns to put together the two stools if you're doing the math). We can put a man on the moon, but no one has invented something other than a hex key with which to put furniture together; it just doesn't make sense.
