Love the island. It looks great in my kitchen, provides plenty of extra storage, and can easily accommodate 2-4 stools for additional seating. Deducted one star for assembly, however. I like to think I'm above average at furniture assembly, but this thing gave me a run for my money. The directions are poorly drawn at best, and as others have mentioned, some of the pre-drilled holes were misplaced or missing altogether. That said, other than needing extra hands to place the top, I was able to put it together on my own. This rating is NOT for the manufacturer. The manufacturer didn’t want to compensate the chipped edges and it was hellish to assemble it as the instructions HOW to click the drawers were NOT clear ! But it’s beautiful once installed. I wouldn’t advise anyone though to assemble it themselves. Also the delivery drivers just left the items on the ground floor despite me living on the 2nd floor. I suggest Wayfair to change the delivery company. Wayfair was professional and fair enough to compensate me 20 of the initial payment. I am giving my 5 stars ONLY to Wayfair.. Anonymous. I received this island on Friday 10 April 2026 - both marble inserts for the top were cracked in half, I appreciate these items could have been damaged in transit but Wayfair are advising they are unable to send replacement tops only and blaming the supplier, they have offered to replace the entire unit despite the large unit being undamaged and the marble inserts arriving in a seperate damaged package. Further they have advised I would need to arrange the return of these items which are more than 100 kilos as they are unable to arrange collection. Still trying to resolve and stuck with an island with no top at present. I would highly recommend not purchasing any large good from this merchant. Extremely stressful and so far unresolved..
