Good instructions, easy enough to assemble solo. I wanted something that doesn't take much space depth-wise, this ticked the box. The only downside is that men's trainers may be a bit of a squeeze to get in. My husband's shoes are 8.5. One pair of trainers went in OK, the other not as they're higher on the back. The cushion that came with the bench doesn't stay in place very well, but it'll do.
