Really disappointed with the quality of this product, to the point, that I put it in my skip. I have built numerous flat packed furniture over the years and this is the poorest item yet. Not only did some of the screws go right through the wood, so did a couple of the dowels i.e the dowel on the central foot came through the base shelf so it was on display. I know it was only £134, but that was money that I cannot afford to lose as pensioner. I have now ordered another stand from a different company. After removing the packaging and taking it out of the box it was not bad at all. It is heavy, thick and sturday. Very good quality! I could push it along the floor on my own. I cannot carry this item on my own. It fits perfectly for my 49 inch tv. The t.v. stand already came assembled which I was very happy about. All I had to do is give it a bit of a wipe down to get rid of any dust and screw in the draw knobs. Loved this product. From the moment it arrived I couldn’t believe how well packaged this item was. All edges and corners were well protected with cardboard strips and foam also the main body off the unit was covered completely with corrugated paper and bubble wrap even the component parts were secured safely and tucked into the drawer so When I finally got the item unwrapped I was not disappointed. It was in perfect condition and looked much better than in the picture with hints of yellow and red tones it looks great all wood too including the feet which were lettered so even a fool couldn’t get it wrong attaching them. Very pleased with my new TV stand. It arrived more or less on time, and was well packaged to protect it. The only small grouse is the screws for the drawer handles aren’t quite long enough, and they cross thread easily I had to replace them all with longer screws and washers as spacers. Only a small point I know, but I had exactly the same problem with a Sheesham sideboard a couple of years ago. Overall though, I’m very happy with the item and the service from Wayfair.. Stephen.
