The material is hardwearing and the piping/seams help retain the shape. It could have have a little more seat padding as the springs are noticeable when you sit down, but you get used to it. First sofabed sent out had a couple of defects. Wayfair issued a replacement and picked up the old broken sofabed as well. Product is okay, the first section of the sofabed once extended into bed is quite hard, so our guests have to sleep with their foot at the "top end" of the sofabed. Colour is quite good! You can fit a glass in though, so all’s not lost! The arms are detached & are just placed in position at each end of the sofa, so fall off onto rte floor when you move about in the sofa.
