We cannot wait to unbox our new library shelves. We had an excellent delivery team too! We have had a great experience overall for the fourth time with Wayfair. We have now unboxed our Crispa Library bookcase and we are absolutely delighted with our purchase. In fact the photos on Wayfair don't do justice to that actual cabinetry. The colouring on the photos looks a little hit and miss but in reality the whole cabinet colour is cohesive and blends and matches so well indeed. We are now awaiting delivery of our matching 1m wide Corkum cabinet which will be placed in a recess in our newly designed library and I must say we just cannot wait! We would like to thank the Romania manufacturers of our cabinets too. We realise that there might be a language barrier but would hope that Wayfair can express our gratitude for excellent build quality to our Romania manufacturer! This bookcase arrived on Monday and Wayfair on Wednesday morning expect a review of the purchase; the bookcase is not yet out of the boxes. I must ask why I should publicly express my disappointment or satisfaction - does it benefit me in any way? No! But Wayfair pester me with e-mails to annoy me or to show me that I’m an incapable idiot who cannot change a flat pack into a bookcase within 24 hours. It is now 24 hours later and can say that each of the Anita sections which make up the Delbis bookcase takes two/three whole days to assemble. Which means the Delbis bookcase will take over a week to assemble. Of course this time takes into account the need to drill holes and modify pieces which were incorrectly manufactured, see photo. Not recommended for an amateur - I am a professional engineer with lots of tools to help. The picture shows two base pieces the one on the right has holes drilled into the base which should have been drilled on the top of this piece - I drilled new holes in order to make the piece fit. Not very happy with Wayfair’s quality control. Further when I got into the assembly the instructions what Wayfair have done is use the Anita instructions and then added on the changes for the doors instead of modifying the Anita instructions to allow that the doors need to be installed. The result is that Wayfair’s instructions leave you with screwing from very awkward angles from the front when there is far easier access from the back if the instructions had been modified. Additionally the door hinge recesses had been drilled mis-aligned making it even more difficult. See pic. However Wayfair was very generous in resolving the matter by offering a complete refund.. Would not recommend, you cannot actually assemble this product as the dowells provided are too small for the hole provided and therefore if you hammer them they won’t do anything but go through the other side or be pulled out or fall out. This was perfect for my childs whimsical playroom. I didnt add the door so it would be easier to use. Also, as others have mentioned, a couple of boards split a tiny bit even though I was careful hand screwing. It didnt affect the build but it is slightly visible on one side. Tolles Bücherregal. Es kam super verpackt an (viel Styropor und Pappe) Die Maße stimmen leider nicht . Der Korpus ist 4m breit, aber der Kranz steht zu beiden Seiten noch 7cm über. Damit hat das Regal eine Breite von 4,14m. Hat bei uns dann Gott sei Dank saugend reingepasst. Leider waren auch nicht genügend Schrankverbinder dabei. Und im unteren Teil sind die Einlegeböden nicht variabel. Ordner passen von der Höhe her nicht hinein. Aber wenn man die Einlegeböden raus nimmt, dann ist genug Platz. I was looking for a unit to house all my books, CD's DVD's, old fashioned cassettes and vinyl collection from years ago. This unit proved ideal and is really great value,I did assemble it on my own but would have been a lot easier with two mainly due to weight height and length. Once assembled I gave it 3 coats of Danish Finishing Oil to give it a rich honey effect and bring out the pine characteristics. The instructions need to be a bit more specific with regard to fitting extension modules that are going to have doors and draws incorporated as facias require to be put on the correct way up for door runner and hinge attachment and height. Two of the door hinges were faulty but customer services soon ordered replacements which arrived in about 8 days. I would give it 4 stars (would have been 5 except for faulty hinges). Paul. Duns, GB. I was looking for a very large bookcase for my newly renovated home office and this looked lovely. I was disappointed that wayfair only told me after I ordered and paid in full that it was out of stock and was in “backorder”. Took almost 3 months to arrive! It is not easy to out together. Parts look very similar and none are labelled! So far we have spent 3 hours assembling just 1/3rd of it and we are fairly experienced with DIY.
