it took me 5 hours to assemble. 2 people works better than 1 as the top layer is heavy and awkward to place . lifting part works great, smooth, easy to open and close for a standing work place. drawers open and close with ease. but, it not easy . nice challenge though. Very quick arrival and thorough building instructions. Some crackingchips on desk surface pieces however, I assume down to warehouse handling. It's okay. It's definitely not a high quality desk but for the price point its decent. It's very manual to adjust in height but you're also well aware of that from the product description.
