We were in need of a mains powered cool box for our holiday (as returning visitors, we knew the fridge was tiny!). It’s difficult to leave a meaningful review after having used something for only a couple of weeks, but I have to say that this has been an absolutely brilliant product thus far. We packed some frozen raw food for the dog, plus various bits from the fridge, and set off from Leicester to North Norfolk on a very hot Friday afternoon (June 13th). We precooled the box by running on mains, we filled the removable divider with water and chucked it in the freezer overnight, and ran it in 12v (USB-C in case you’re wondering) for the journey, which was about three hours. The frozen food was still frozen on arrival. Wonderful stuff. We’ve used it as a secondary fridge for almost two weeks and it’s been spot on (and yes, dear reader, your tall 750ml wine and fizz bottles will fit but keep them on the left hand side). Oh, and we took it to a beach hut in near 30 degrees heat, loaded with salads, other less boring food and various drinks, plus a standard bag of ice, and the ice was still frozen at 10pm. So, in conclusion, this cool box really hits the spot and I would - so far - wholeheartedly recommend it. Any minuses? Not really. The wheels are a bit small to be of much use in soft sand?
