A sturdy spacious polytunnel greenhouse, more than ample space for modest crops of tomatoes and cucumbers which I have. The added strength at the seems will be advantageous during windy and wet conditions which we usually experience at some point during our summers. I would give this greenhouse 5 stars if I could, but it was quite difficult to assemble and needed both myself and my husband. It took us a weekend to complete it. You also need to build a base if not included. The result is a lovely little greenhouse and it has stood up to the winds and gales we have had recently. We did reinforce the panels with glass tape and so far we have had no leaks, also the window has a very strange closing. I really like it, wasn't to difficult to assemble but I was alone doing it. Bars are quite thick and all metal, plastic seems pretty good just be a little careful you don't pull to hard when assembling. I've reinforced mine with some roof slats and some scant wood. MAJOR DESIGN FAULT WHEN IT RAINS The greenhouse has only been up for a couple of weeks. On the plus side, it is spacious, and the plastic cover is robust. BUT.... yesterday we had torrential rain and the horizontal pole at the back snapped from the weight of water on the roof, which didn't run off as you'd think it would, and must have pooled there. We propped the back pole up in the middle with a wooden stake, but later there was another downpour, and the horizontal pole at the front tore (because of the wire fixing inside, which literally sliced through the pole). Once again, there was the greenhouse roof sagging in the middle, looking very sorry for itself. Both horizontal poles are now propped up with wood and parcel tape. Unfortunately, I would therefore not recommend this greenhouse because it needs middle poles to support it when it rains. This is a major design fault.. L. Poole, GB. 2025-06-08 10:17:31
