Lovely sturdy arch. Wasn’t too difficult to put together by myself. Only thing I would say is, as your screwing in the bolts don’t too tightly as it’s starts to indent into the metal. That’s why I’ve given it 4 stars. I bought square planters for each side and planted up a passion flower in one and a clematis in the other, which looks lovely. The flat packed arbour was fairly easy to construct, although assistance from another person (or a third hand!) would have been useful. It was fiddly to get the arch to form a neat circle and awkward to get the gates ‘balanced’ as they kept swinging open. This was possibly because the ground was not perfectly level. I solved both problems by selecting a raised patch of ground, on which the gates could rest. In summary, the arbour is a good ornamental feature, but if the gates are to be regularly opened and closed it will have to be sited on very level, firm ground. Steve. Fleet, GB. 2018-05-24 03:56:16

Great Arch! Arrived quicker than expected. Building it was relatively straight forward, and would definitely recommend a drill screwdriver to to make light work of it. It took awhile to straighten it once it was upright and I used ground spikes to anchor it down. I painted it to match the rest of my garden. Very happy with the end result.. Robert. Quality scroll pattern garden rose arch arbor. Side panels are made in one complete section, not like the cheaper build-up type. Very simple installation; the top bows just fit onto the top of the side frames, and they push into the ground. Made from metal, 16mm tube, and solid 20x6mm bracing and 10x6mm scrolls. Powder-coated black will need to be inspected periodically for any damage to the coating and touched up accordingly. Like any outdoor metal product, it may need to be painted every couple of years to ensure a long life.
