Terah Retractable Awning

The item arrived on time, however it was damaged from use. This was not a new awning! Parts were missing, wrong sizes parts and there were some that were not even part of this item. All and all, waste of money and time. On a different note-communication with the company was very good and my money were refunded promptly.

This is a good item, excellent value for the money. I would have awarded 5 stars but for the instruction leaflet, which really needed some detailed written instructions rather than rather feeble pictures.

Awning was bought for the inlaws, as they were looking for an Awning which wasn't too big or too heavy, to go outside their front and help shade from the sun and this is the one they chose. Upon checking the contents you can see that it isn't your standard type of Awning, as it does slope downward more than most I have seen, but it does have a dual purpose, which is that the canopy can be used as a blind to cover a window, if that's the position you decide to put it in, so that's quite a nice feature. Metal componants are strong enough, but not sure what it will perform like in Severe weather. The design in like a roller blind, as same wind up mechanism, so the way it is held up, is via the 2 poles which hold it taught and attach to the wall. My wife's parents are happy and said they would recommend to buyers.

Awning seems ok I've assembled it but need an extra hand to install it.

The awning I purchase is of a good quality and came with very clear set of instructions.
